Insatiably curious. I want to know why things work, in addition to how they work. I want to know the history behind things, to better understand why things are the way they are. All things. I spend WAY too much time in random corners of Wikipedia.
Pretty handy at figuring things out. I've recently taught myself how to do concrete work.
A pretty good cook, and a decent baker.
An ally to all, but specifically to my LGBTQ+ friends, and really anyone who is bein kicked in the face by the system.

I was going to put a "What I am not" section, but I don't really like to focus on the negatives.

Fun Facts

When people ask "Where are you from?" I have to think about it. I was born in Texas, grew up in Utah and Tennessee, lived 20 years in California, and live in Utah again.
Due to the nature of where I lived at various times, I've voted for Kamala Harris more than any other single politician. Yes, that makes me one of them "libruls"
On that note, unless you start spewing right-wing bullshit at me, I'm fairly quiet about my politics. I believe in minding your own damn business for the most part.
I read Dune before it was cool. I mean before it was cool again.
I learned how to sail after being geeked out about the foiling catamarans during the 2013 America's Cup in San Francisco. I'm now rated for offshore sailing in up to 52" sailboats.
